Tne Certified Wound Ostomy RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in Wound Care for Critical Care

Reports to: Director - Critical Care

Job Requirements

Minimum Education
Associate’s degree in Nursing or RN Diploma - Required

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing - Preferred

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required.

Required Skills
Certifications:
BLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center required to be current upon hire.

Required Skills
Licenses: State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure – Required
Wound Care Certification - Required (relevant years of wound care experience considered in lieu of)

Minimum Work Experience
2 year nursing experience in Wound care - Required
