Senior Manager, Business Development - CTV Partnerships
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager of Business Development to spearhead strategic CTV partnerships within our Demand-Side Platform (DSP) team. This role is a critical part of driving growth in our Connected TV (CTV) offerings, positioning the company at the forefront of the rapidly evolving ad tech landscape. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the CTV ecosystem and its intersection with programmatic advertising, audience data, and measurement, combined with a proven ability to build and manage key partnerships that fuel long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic CTV Partnership Development: Identify, pursue, and cultivate new partnerships with key players in the TV ecosystem, including CTV platforms, data partners, and technology vendors. Establish long-term relationships with external stakeholders to accelerate the growth of our DSP offering in the CTV space.
Consultative Sales Support: Partner closely with internal sales teams to provide strategic insights and enable successful monetization strategies with CTV partners. Leverage a deep understanding of partner business needs and objectives to shape joint value propositions and optimize revenue opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across teams—Legal, Finance, Product, Marketing, Privacy, and DSP Strategy—to negotiate agreements, align partnership initiatives with product development, and execute successful integrations. Ensure that all partnerships are well-supported operationally and legally.
Innovative Partnership Strategy: Lead efforts to identify and evaluate emerging opportunities in the CTV, addressable TV, and broader Advanced TV markets. Balance short-term partnership priorities with longer-term strategic goals, focusing on scalability and differentiation within the ad tech ecosystem.
Market Insight & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of trends and shifts in the CTV and programmatic TV landscape, analyzing competitor strategies and new market entrants. Provide actionable insights to shape product and partnership strategies that will keep the company competitive in the evolving digital and TV advertising space.
Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management: Own the full partnership lifecycle—from identification to negotiation and execution—driving revenue generation through the successful onboarding of CTV partners. Articulate the value proposition of the DSP to key partners and continuously identify new business opportunities.
Industry Networking & Thought Leadership: Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and networking functions. Build a strong network within the CTV and ad tech ecosystem to raise brand awareness, gain market intelligence, and uncover new partnership opportunities.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the ad tech, media, or CTV space, with a proven track record of establishing and nurturing high-impact partnerships.
Expertise in CTV, addressable TV, programmatic advertising, audience data, and media measurement.
Prior experience working with TV buyers, programmatic TV platforms, and CTV media execution is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth by managing complex, high-value partnerships.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to convert market insights into actionable business strategies.
Proven ability to prioritize effectively, balancing short-term wins with long-term growth initiatives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives.
Passion for the evolving TV and video advertising landscape, with a keen interest in emerging trends such as Advanced TV, CTV, OTT, and digital video advertising.
