APAC publishing & media team develops and operates 30+ websites and mobile apps that include Yahoo Homepage, Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Entertainment, and Commerce; providing premium digital contents to millions of users every day and helping us dominate in the TW/HK market. APAC Media Engineering team focuses on creating most relevant local experiences and services while leverage global developments.

Your Day
Passionate about building the most advanced online content management
Hands-on web development on different devices, ex: mobile and desktop, with good performance and stability
Assuring quality of development and product operation
Partnering with product teams, SE, and platform groups worldwide
You Must Have
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent fields
1-3+ years of demonstrated industry experience
Solid experience and passion for building highly interactive and efficient web applications using Javascript, CSS, HTML/XHTML, PHP, AJAX, JSON, and XML
Familiar with frontend Single Page Applications (SPA) development or with frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue; and building server side applications using Node.js.
Proficiency in Mandarin(Chinese) is essential.
Applicants for this position must be willing to locate to Taiwan.
