E-commerce is a unique business in Taiwan within Yahoo. We are hiring more native app developers to deliver more quality E-commerce apps to the market. The E-commerce mobile team is responsible for delivering world class E-commerce focused native apps on both iOS and Android platforms.

We are looking for iOS mobile app developers. You will work with product managers/designers/global mobile team to develop mobile applications, prototype new UI/concepts, and involve app testing, including unit tests and UI automation tests.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop, and test components of UI systems to deliver business requirements

  • Collaborate with designers on creating modern and easy-to-use experiences for our customers

  • Work with product managers and designers to develop mobile apps based on their requirements. Also, join the discussion, and contribute your domain knowledge to improve the user experience(UX)

  • Work with global mobile teams to leverage the results from them

  • Prototyping for new UI and concept

  • Involved in app testing, including unit tests and UI automation tests

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent

  • 3+ years of demonstrated industry experience

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and desire to learn new skills

  • Great sense of responsibility and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with deep knowledge of iOS frameworks, libraries, and development tools. Familiarity with modern iOS development practices such as Swift Package Manager, SwiftUI, Combine, and async/await

  • Strong understanding of product quality and performance standards

  • Proficiency in Mandarin(Chinese) is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, and should be able to communicate with various teams globally

  • Experience in demonstrated industry is highly desirable

  • Ability to take initiative and be innovative
