Metallurgical Engineer Intern

Arconic is currently in search of Metallurgical Engineering Interns to join our Rolled Products North America in Davenport, IA.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Shadow and assists Metallurgical Engineering group. Researches and completes projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications 

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Metallurgical Engineering, Material Sciences, or Engineering with a focus/specialization in Materials or Material Sciences.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or above
• Involvement in extracurricular activities
• Prior work experience
• Expected graduation date of December 2025, or April/May/June 2026 or 2027
