Summary:    

50/50 Field Trainers perform the duties and responsibilities outlined in the Studio Manager job description, with the assistance of an Assistant Studio Manager in their home studio.    

Like all other Studio Managers, they are accountable for the business results (e.g., photography, sales, customer service) of their home studio, following established operational processes (e.g., photography, sales, training) as well as demonstrating concern for the safety of our customers (infants, children and adults) and employees by following established safety procedures and practices.    

In addition, 50/50 Field Trainers drive district results by providing feedback on photography and sales, executing training plans and activities that promote the photography skills of Studio Managers and Team Members in studios within in their assigned district.   

Primary Duties and Responsibilities   

  • Manages and leads a team (2 or more full-time equivalents in their home studio), including providing day-to-day work direction, sharing performance feedback, giving recognition and communicating effectively.   

  • Analyzes photography and sales trends; schedule studio visits based on maximum growth potential.    

  • Provides photography training and coaching to employees within their home studio and studios within their district.   

  • Monitors and analyzes photography, sales and customer service performance following visits, in order to deliver feedback to studio teams and the District Sales Manager.    

  • Ensures skill level of assigned Studio Managers and Team Members improve in a reasonable, clearly communicated timeframe to achieve and sustain improvement in sales average photography and customer service scores.   

  • Employs techniques to build teamwork in support of business needs to drive results.    

Education and Experience:   

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience; college degree, preferred.    

  • 1-2 years as a successful Studio Manager for Lifetouch Portrait Studios.    

  • Photography in PhotoShare that demonstrates skills and ability to meet or exceed LPS Photography expectations.   

  • Proven results within their district, based on prior fiscal year or 6-month year-to-date performance, including:   

    • Base studio photography score in PhotoShare above 3.7.   
    • Key Metrics standing (in district, region and company).   
    • Average Order Value (AOV).   

Other (knowledge, skills, and abilities):   

  • Valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation.   

  • Ability to travel in local market 50% of the time via car. Minimal overnight stays in some markets may be required.   

  • Possess strong photography skills.    

  • Understands the LPS business policies, procedures and results expectations.    

  • Proven ability to deliver training, using fundamentals of adult-learning and effective presentation skills that effectively results in business growth and skill improvement.    

  • Ability to work a varied schedule including days, nights and weekends.    

  • Sales and customer service skills.    

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., navigation, data entry), (specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), strongly preferred.    

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.   

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.    

  • Ability to manage and prioritize work.    

  • Ability to quickly develop a good rapport with children and adults   

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.   

  • Detail oriented in the execution and follow-up of work.    

  • Ability to effectively manage and lead change.    

  • Takes initiatives.   

Physical Requirements:   

  • The physical requirements described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary duties and responsibilities.    

  • When performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, crawl, twist, balance, reach, use hands and fingers to perform repetitive tasks and assemble/disassemble equipment. The employee must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds (and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds).  

Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50
