MANAGER - LUXURY TRANSPORTATION SERVICES Job Details | The Venetian Las Vegas

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of Manager – Luxury Transportation Services is to oversee daily in-house transportation operation and manage a team of chauffeurs and dispatchers. The Manager – Luxury Transportation Services will also be responsible for ensuring that all transportation services are provided with exceptional quality, reliability, and efficiency.

All duties are to be performed in accordance The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures. 



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Luxury Transportations Services Team ensuring all transportation services are delivered on time, to the right location, and with exceptional quality.
  • Management responsibilities include hiring recommendations that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; training; coaching; performance feedback, recommending and administering discipline, and scheduling.
  • Monitor all daily transactions and services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement transportation strategies, policies, and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained and serviced according to established schedules.
  • Enforce all safety, appearance, attendance, and service guidelines to ensure full team member compliance.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, including service recovery in instances of customer complaints and concerns.

  • Review daily schedules and operational expenses to ensure cost effectiveness and maximum productivity.
  • Builds strong professional relationships with all operational departments.
  • Promote guest/client loyalty by building strong and lasting relationships through exceptional service with new and repeat customers.
  • Promote an environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Safety is an essential function of this job.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 25 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
  • 5 years of previous driving experience, with preference to those with prior experience driving professionally or driving luxury vehicles. Must provide a 5- or 10-year DMV driving history record.
  • Valid Nevada driver’s license and must maintain Nevada driver’s license throughout tenure.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
  • Clean driving record and knowledge of defensive driving techniques.
  • Neat and clean professional appearance in accordance with Company and departmental standards.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry required, with specific experience in luxury transportation management and/or hotel operations highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, LMS, & Micros



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to give directions, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner.
  • Must be able to address stressful situations with clients and guests with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.



Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

  • Lift or carry 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability to, for prolonged periods of time, sit, walk, stand, and to frequently stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, LED, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
