Finance Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Finance Business Analyst to join our Global Shared Services team. This role is designed for professionals with 0-3 years of experience, including MBA interns with relevant prior experience. The successful candidate will analyze finance data, deliver actionable insights, and collaborate closely with leadership to support business strategy and decision-making. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic learning environment while directly contributing to the optimization of shared services processes and providing critical support to senior leadership in managing strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Insights

• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Provide analysis to optimize processes in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Develop reports and dashboards to present data in an understandable and impactful manner.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize financial data.
• Support top leadership in identifying and validating strategies using data-backed insights.
• Ensure clear and effective communication of financial findings to various stakeholders.
• Assist in organizing key leadership meetings, preparing presentations, and tracking action items to ensure follow-ups and timely completion.

Strategic Support

• Provide executive-level support by managing priorities, tracking strategic initiatives, and consolidating insights for senior leadership.
• Serve as a key liaison to ensure alignment between leadership’s goals and operational execution.
• Support the development and execution of governance frameworks for smooth inter-departmental collaboration.

Process Optimization

• Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with SSC and other finance teams to implement streamlined workflows.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance process efficiency.

Learning and Adaptability

• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on finance and data analysis tools.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and contribute in a fast-paced global organization.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in finance, data analysis, or a similar role. Prior internship experience is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial tools and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of AP, AR, and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to present complex data clearly.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.
