As a Yearbook Sales Specialist you will be responsible to sell and retain our yearbook programs, products, and services to prospective and current schools within assigned sales territory and manage customer relationships to meet and exceed set sales expectations. You will be responsible for maintaining long-term relationships with yearbooks of assigned customers and the preservation of our customer base.
Retain & Grow Existing Business (Primary Focus 60%+)
o Maintains and strengthens long-lasting relationships with existing customers.
o Rebooks yearbook business in assigned accounts following company rebooking guidelines.
o Leverages existing relationships within current accounts to grow our business through upselling yearbooks and services into the account.
o Provides exceptional customer service to all assigned accounts by building and managing long term relationships with current accounts through regularly scheduled service calls and site visits.
o Discovers customer needs for yearbooks and related products.
o Assists, coaches and services all assigned yearbook customers.
o Completes all yearbook training programs as offered by Lifetouch.
o Forecasts and tracks customer account metrics.
o Assists with data collection from accounts as required.
o Completes accurate sales agreements for orders, including pricing and payment terms in accordance with corporate guidelines.
o Service multiple accounts concurrently, ensuring customer understanding and compliance to publishing deadlines and material submission requirements.

Gain New Business (Secondary Focus)
o Builds long-lasting customer relationships.
o Generates new business with prospects.
o Proactively prospects new yearbooks and cultivates customer relationships and grows revenue by achieving activity, prospecting strategy, and pipeline management expectations within assigned territory
o Utilizes the Company’s CRM tool (i.e., Salesforce) in accordance with established procedures (includes documenting all sales activities within the system).
o Maximizes productivity by effective scheduling of appointments and geographic routing.
o Participates in ongoing training as provided and required by the Company and effectively demonstrates skills post-training.
o Attends regularly scheduled sales meetings.
o Maintains, completes, and submits paperwork/reports, including weekly sales logs, call reports, account files, account recovery forms in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Education
• College Diploma preferred, or equivalent combination of education and training.
Experience
• 2-3 years of sales or customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and training.
