Product Manager

Shutterfly Eden Prairie, MN (Onsite) Full-Time

As an E-commerce Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of our digital products by putting customers first and leveraging data insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support, to define product strategies, set priorities, and deliver exceptional experiences that align with our business goals. This role requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities:
1.    Customer-centric Approach: Develop a deep understanding of our customers, their needs, and pain points through market research, user feedback, and data analysis. Translate customer insights into actionable product strategies and roadmaps that deliver exceptional user experiences.
2.    Data-Driven Decision Making:  Utilize data analytics, A/B testing, and other relevant metrics to identify opportunities, measure product performance, and make data-driven decisions. Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive product improvements and achieve business objectives.
3.    Product Strategy and Roadmap:  Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with company goals and customer needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, enhancements, and projects based on impact and feasibility.
4.    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product enhancements. Foster a collaborative environment and serve as a liaison between different teams to drive alignment and deliver outcomes.
5.    Influence and Leadership:  Demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to influence without direct authority. Champion the product vision and collaborate with stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for product initiatives. Act as a product evangelist both internally and externally, representing the company's product offerings with confidence and expertise.
6.    Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to development, testing, and launch. Continuously monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on features to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

Qualifications and Skills:
1.    Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, specifically with software products, SaaS, and customer-facing websites.
2.    Proven track record of putting customers first and delivering customer-centric solutions.
3.    Strong analytical skills and experience in using data to drive decision-making and measure product success.
4.    Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to translate business goals into product strategies and roadmaps.
5.    Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6.    Deep understanding of e-commerce industry trends, competitive landscape, and user experience best practices.
7.    Technical background and familiarity with Agile development methodologies are preferred.
8.    Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Product Design) is preferred.

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations. 

Minnesota : [$125,000-$150,500]
