Responsibilities

• Architect and help lead the technical roadmap for our Sports Android App, defining scalable, modular, and high-performance solutions using Kotlin, with a focus on quality, testability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate closely with other engineers and cross functional teams to help define, build and deliver new features, and further modernize our codebase

• Mentor and inspire a team of engineers, fostering their growth through code reviews, technical guidance, and career development while cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

• Own and deliver end-to-end on strategic, high-impact projects—from conception through execution—balancing technical complexity, business needs, and timelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Exceptional coding expertise and mastery in software development, with a focus on mobile app development and writing modular and testable code; unit testing; design patterns; concurrency; performance profiling and tuning

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping native, production Android apps

• Deep proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack, Android Studio, Android Platform Tools, Java, git, and other essential tools, libraries, and frameworks for Android development.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, with a track record of fostering collaboration, innovation, and a positive team culture.

• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, paired with a strategic mindset for long-term technical planning.

• High EQ, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire and influence across all levels of an organization.

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent CS training); advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

The compensation for this position ranges from $143,625.00 - $299,375.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
