Master Scheduler

Tenneco Napoleon, OH (Onsite) Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for reviewing daily reports to determine customer order request, changes and deletions.  Work with production supervisors to ensure that schedules are met.  Produce a production schedule for operators at each machine. Keep the production plan updated in the SAP system.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Review customer requirements using system generated reports.
  1. Communicate with plant personnel & customer contacts for any issues affecting customer deliveries.
  2. Produce schedules for operations in assigned areas of responsibility.  Schedules are to be five (5) day schedules issued weekly with a daily schedule if needed to set priorities.  
  1. Review material required to meet schedule.  Report any shortages to the materials coordinator.
  1. Track and report production schedule adherence performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/CRITICAL SKILLS:

  • College degree or equivalent experience.    
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Ability to use a computer and MS Office software and MSA.
