Digital Marketing Specialist II

TD SYNNEX Greenville, SC (Onsite) Full-Time

About the Role

As a Digital Marketing Specialist II, you will develop and implement digital programs and campaigns, with a strong emphasis on social media strategies to enhance the TD SYNNEX brand. You will execute digital marketing efforts, optimize user experience throughout the sales cycle, and leverage social media insights to improve campaign performance. You should have a solid understanding of social media platforms and strategies, be competent in your job functions, and possess general industry knowledge. You will work independently, using judgment and discretion, and represent the organization on various projects. Your role will directly impact the success of the department and occasionally the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Create and implement digital marketing assets: Develop assets to meet business objectives and revenue goals, with a focus on social media to drive brand engagement. Oversee digital content procurement, development, and posting activities. (50%)

  • Strategize, create, optimize, and execute digital marketing campaigns: Manage social media platforms to enhance online promotional efforts. This role encompasses a wide range of digital marketing areas, including web design, digital advertising, email marketing, e-merchandising, online learning, digital video, webinars, live streams, online content management, and related activities. (20%)

  • Maintain brand standards: Ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to promotional requirements for TD SYNNEX and its vendor partners. Consult with design teams for digital specifications and review incoming content. (10%)

  • Share best practices and insights: Disseminate best-in-class deliverables, strategies, tools, and processes across regions and businesses, with an emphasis on social media insights. Track, analyze, and report data from social media and other digital platforms, identify trends, and evaluate results to maximize ROI. Test landing pages and social media content, utilize audience segmentation, and recommend enhancements. Manage external marketing agencies, social media partnerships, and third-party provider e-commerce feeds. (10%)

  • Optimize and improve strategic digital marketing activities: Recommend traffic-building strategies to support marketing efforts aimed at attracting and converting new customers, gaining user adoption, and increasing online sales. Develop reports, analyze data, and implement strategies for continuous improvement in digital marketing analytics. (10%)

  • Maintain a basic understanding of digital marketing tools: Stay informed about principles, theories, and concepts, particularly in areas like social media, digital advertising, and content management.

  • Demonstrate competency in job functions: Understand industry practices, techniques, and standards, including current trends in social media and digital marketing.

  • Develop solutions to digital marketing challenges: Work on projects requiring critical evaluation, analysis, and innovative approaches.

  • Exercise independent judgment: Refer to established policies, practices, and precedents for guidance but determine the best course of action to achieve optimal results.

  • Perform work independently: Use sound judgment, discretion, and strategic decision-making to enhance digital marketing efforts.

  • Receive guidance on new or complex assignments: Take initiative in everyday responsibilities while seeking guidance as needed.

  • Ensure alignment with business objectives: Periodically review work for overall adequacy and campaign effectiveness.

  • Represent the organization: Act as a primary point of contact on specified digital marketing projects or tasks, fostering collaboration and clear communication.

  • Engage with management and professionals: Provide insights and recommendations based on campaign performance and digital trends.

  • Represent the department externally: Showcase expertise in digital marketing strategy and execution on key projects.

  • Impact the success of the department: Actions directly affect the department and occasionally the broader organization; errors may result in delays, lost revenue, or the need for additional resources.

  • Meet attendance and punctuality standards: Contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of the marketing team.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned: Support continuous improvement initiatives and team goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing, with a preference for candidates who have at least 1 year of experience and a working knowledge of digital marketing platforms. Intermediate experience in areas such as social media, email marketing, web development, online education, e-merchandising/e-commerce, and analytics is a plus.

  • Education & Certifications: A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Marketing or Communications. Candidates with equivalent experience and relevant certifications are also considered.

  • Working Conditions: This role may require occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business needs dictate. On-call availability may be necessary. The position is based in a professional office environment.

  • Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Ability to execute instructions and seek clarification when needed.

    • Strong clerical and data entry skills, with the ability to input 40 words per minute.

    • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations.

    • Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

    • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.

    • Capability to create and deliver formal presentations.

    • Effective interaction with all levels of management.

    • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to promote and sell ideas persuasively and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.

    • Excellent multi-cultural interpersonal skills.

    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a willingness to lead, innovate, and be assertive.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

    • Ability to work constructively under stress and pressure, managing high workloads and deadlines.

    • Commitment to maintaining and promoting social, ethical, and organizational standards in all business activities.

    • Independence in work, requiring minimal supervision.

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

    • Physical capability to remain immobile for extended periods and transport up to 20 lbs.

    • Strong relationship-building skills, fostering effective working relationships with others.

    • Sensitivity to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.

    • Quick learner, adept at mastering new systems and technology.

Note: This position is posted at the Digital Marketing Specialist II. However, we are open to considering candidates with varying levels of experience and qualifications. Depending on your skills and background, you may be considered for different levels of the position.
