Senior Python Developer

Job Purpose

The Senior Python Developer role requires a highly skilled technical expert with exceptional collaboration and automation capabilities to design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions that align with hardware testing, primarily focusing on servers and racks. This role emphasizes optimizing processes, enhancing system performance, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position will prioritize automation, platform reconstruction, and integration testing to drive operational efficiency and scalability. We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative, cutting-edge software solutions that support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to identify automation opportunities, clarify business processes, and define system requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation tools, testing platforms, and software products.
• Write functional requirement documents, conduct integration testing, and ensure project delivery meets quality and timeline expectations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve program issues on Linux platforms, implementing timely improvements.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and business trends to enhance system capabilities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into broader workflows.

Qualifications/Education – Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of hands-on Python development.
• Proven experience with Linux platforms, MySQL databases, and automation tools.

Critical Skills

• Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python with excellent coding practices and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience designing high-concurrency, distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage work pressure and deadlines.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with automation/deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Office 365 configurations is preferred.
• Scripting skills in Shell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Fluency in Mandarin or English is advantageous.

Working Conditions

• Occasional non-standard hours or overtime to meet project deadlines.
• Flexible availability for urgent troubleshooting or system improvements.
