Configuration Analyst II

Purpose:
The Configuration Analyst is primarily responsible for designing, configuring and maintaining critical functions within ALIP administrative system. They will work with the ALIP Product Teams and other Product Teams to maintain the accuracy and relationships of Configuration Items within the system. This team is heavily involved in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts across lines of business to translate their needs into requirements, recommend best practices to accomplish their goals, and implement solutions.Accountabilities:
- Work with business partners and technical teams in the design and implementation of new products, project initiatives and prioritized items from business partners.
- Advise Product Teams and business partners on design, development and overall best practice configuration for ALIP functions.
- Identify and resolve conflicts between data sources.
- Assist Product Team members with clear and concise refinement of all stories and bugs to ensure effective and efficient deliveries
- Contribute to sprint capacity in Agile Scrum Team to support ongoing changes and align with organizational priorities
- Develop Configuration Management processes, procedures and standards including maintenance routines, data certifications and service mapping reviews.
- Assist in the research, analysis, and resolution of moderate to complex production issues experienced by business partners.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ year of professional/technical experience strongly preferred
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen to proactively solve problems.
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL, PostgreSQL, XML preferred
- Experience with configuration within ALIP or similar annuity platform preferred, but not required
- Effective written communication skills for generating clear, concise release notes and documentation.
- Strong understanding of annuity products and operational process
- Results oriented, self-motivated individual who takes ownership over assignments
- Strong problem solving, communication, and conflict management skills
