Logistics Specialist

TD SYNNEX VIE (Onsite) Full-Time

Job Purpose:  

Logistics Specialist is responsible for organizing and coordinating the flow of goods (both physical and non-physical cargo), information and fund within the organization and in collaboration with external entities (vendors & customers).

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor cargo orders and work with related stakeholders to arrange shipping/ transportation under suitable transport modes and cost

  • Source, procure logistics services to secure for a safety and efficient delivery to customers

  • Obtain, prepare and check all necessary documents required to ensure that the documents meet the requirements of national customs authorities or any other regulatory body

  • Timely and accuracy transactions in ERP systems

  • Coordinate with Trade Compliance team for checking Customs declaration, import permit and other necessary requirements.

  • Monitor, evaluate 3PL performance and continue improvement their services

  • Keep stakeholders updated on customs formality & trucking regulations, shipping requirements and relevant information

  • Control logistics costs, manage payments to 3PL

  • Regular report to Managers and Business

  • Be pro-active in trouble solving & initiative to improve the working process.

  • Other tasks assigned by Logistics Manager, Logistics Director or Country General Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • University/master's degree of Trade Foreign or Business Administration, or its equivalent

  • English written and verbal.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office                                                                        

  • Understand well the relevant law and realistic practice.

  • At least 3 years in working experience in Logistics.

  • Preferable with good experience in import/export for IT products.

  • Hard working and ability to work for a long time with company.

  • High sense of responsibility

  • Good problem-solving skill to solve the issues relating to import-export matters, especially when working with third parties and sales team.

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

  • Good interpersonal skill

  • Proactive, creative mindset

  • Ability to handle sensitive situations quickly.

  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

  • Well organized & Good planning skills

  • Good written and communication skill in English and Vietnamese.
