Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Manager for Search, you will help develop our search strategy and roadmap and lead its execution, specifically by leveraging the broad Yahoo portfolio, international growth options, and continuing to evolve our Android Launcher. The ideal candidate will leverage strong user empathy and deep subject matter expertise to closely collaborate with design, science, engineering, and other key cross-functional teams. You will determine what we prioritize for our customers in our search experiences and bring the vision to life. You will also lead the effort to discover and amplify content from across the vast Yahoo ecosystem to create new and innovative search experiences across surfaces. The role is also responsible for taking complex problems and breaking them down into steps that drive product development while connecting the technical and business worlds.

Specifically, you will:
Own the vision and strategy for Yahoo’s mobile launcher, driving feature development and optimization to enhance user engagement.
Collaborate closely with Yahoo’s brands to seamlessly integrate search experiences within their respective products, increasing search adoption and discoverability.
Set and execute the product vision for the search experience surrounding distribution and international growth
Champion a user experience that is engaging, inspiring, and helpful to all those using the product through prior experience-based intuition as well as iterative data insights
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies, roadmaps, and end-user products to increase user satisfaction and to meet organization goals
Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, platforms, and/or products
Drive product development with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups, and guide the team through key milestones
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics
Constantly display leadership, communication, organizational, and execution skills
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder, or related technical role working collaboratively with engineering, design, and user research teams to drive product vision
Experience with Android-based products, particularly in mobile launcher development
Strong track record of relationship building across different business units, effectively partnering with teams to drive product adoption and strategic alignment
Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
Ability to translate customer insights into product improvements and innovations that enhance the overall user experience
Strong background in building highly engaging consumer products
Experience in analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data
Experience in gathering requirements across diverse areas and users and converting and developing them into a product solution
Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
Proven communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Experience in a consumer technology company
Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field

) page to learn more.The compensation for this position ranges from $120,750.00 - $251,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
