(Sr) Commodity Buyer – Global Sensors

Location: Gliwice, Poland or Bucharest, Romania 

Reports to: Sr. Purchasing Manager, Global Braking & Sensors

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Commodity Buyer to support our Global Sensors category. In this role, you’ll assist in developing commodity strategies, managing sourcing activities, and driving project implementation. You’ll prepare key documentation for supplier negotiations, RFQs/RFIs, and internal presentations while ensuring purchasing data integrity in SAP and other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.

• Conduct supplier research and prepare RFQs/RFIs.

• Analyze financial data and make sourcing recommendations.

• Maintain supplier communication and resolve invoice discrepancies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years in Purchasing/Procurement or Materials Management, preferably in manufacturing.

• Strong experience with RFQ processes, data analysis, and supplier negotiations.

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

• Excellent English communication skills; other languages are a plus.

• Ability to travel internationally (10-20%) when required.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Materials Management, or Logistics.
