Inventory Control Clerk - CCA

TD SYNNEX Miramar, FL (Onsite) Full-Time

Job Description:

The Inventory Control Clerk for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization will train and mentor new/existing associates, direct the work and allocate tasks, and act as an extension of Manager to associates and management.

It utilizes SAP, TD SYNNEX programs and all necessary equipment, to research shrink issues and identify potential root causes.

It will positively support continuous improvement initiatives (i.e. utilizing Lean Sigma techniques, updating SOPs, developing & implementing solutions).

What You’ll Do:

  • Delegate and evaluate tasks and performance of Associates

  • Research shrinks issues to beat, the established goal.

  • Act as an extension of the Manager and communicate concerns across all levels.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Acts as SME; Trains/Mentors Associates

  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Internal candidates: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with transaction- intensive warehouse management/inventory systems in a high volume facility.

  • Must understand and be able to learn all Inventory Control Functions (i.e. SAP, Cycle Counts, Short Ship/Over Ship/Wrong Product Shipped research, Shrink research. Etc.)

  • External candidates: minimum 5 years’ experience outlined above.

  • High School Diploma Required.

  • Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.

  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.

  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

  • Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.

  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.

  • Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.

  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

  • Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.

  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Able to transport up to 50 lbs.

  • Able to use common office equipment.

  • Able to use relevant computer system applications at an intermediate level.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Other Education/Certifications:

  • Associate's Degree or higher preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Professional environment.

  • Distribution center environment may include: exposure to extreme temperatures high noise levels high places wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
