Engineering Intern

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate on cutting-edge 3D CAD and 2D drawing projects: Develop, review, and release designs into our innovative system.
- Get hands-on with prototype builds: Assist in creating prototypes for customer orders and testing parts.
- Drive continuous improvement: Participate in projects that enhance our processes and procedures.
- Support diverse manufacturing tasks: Engage in activities like tube/rod bending, quality assurance, prototype fabrication, and generating work orders.
- Translate customer needs into actionable tests: Understand specifications and create precise test instructions.
- Dive into data analysis: Assess test results for durability and reliability, and craft detailed reports.
- Organize and update documentation: Keep our DVPR and related documents in top shape.
- Collaborate across teams: Work on projects with various functional groups at Tenneco.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment
- Able to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Strong analytical skills and motivation
- Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills
Required Experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline. Prefer Sophomore level or higher.
