Manager, Pricing and Contracts

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Manager, Pricing and Contracts will work with Sales, Marketing and Inside Sales to execute on the marketing strategies and initiatives to profitably expand the Commercial Transportation and Industrial business in North America.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the pricing and price authorization for quotes and contracts for Industrial and Commercial Transportation products.
  • Support the Industrial and Commercial Transportation Marketing team with quote management, contract approvals, financial analysis, portfolio optimization, as well as setup of customer price grids. 
  • Implement a consistent pricing strategy across the entire Industrial and Commercial Transportation business. 
  • Contribute to process improvement on the Quote to Order process by identifying and implementing changes to existing processes with Marketing and Inside Sales teams at each of our mills. 
  • Become the subject matter expert for the Marketing team on the Inside Sales and Manufacturing processes at mills to provide valuable insight to marketing decisions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution 
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a marketing, sales, or related function
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of business systems (i.e. AS400, SAP, Oracle, SalesForce) 
  • Proactive, with superior analytical and numerical skills 
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines 
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated
