Prep Desk Specialist

3:00pm to 11:30pm + required overtime

$19.50 per hour.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for managing emails and conducting research to address various inquiries. This includes responding to questions about issues that require attention. Your role will involve providing support and troubleshooting potential problems. Additionally, you will operate a cherry picker and assist in manually packing boxes, as well as moving items to facilitate your research. Utilizing your excellent communication skills, you will offer feedback and propose solutions for resolution.

What You'll Do:

• Answer any emails assigned to the prep desk.

• Respond to questions regarding orders, system problems and customer issues.

• Reviews, Order release, overseeing the workload table for boxes without tracking, replen without any stock, shortened stocks.

• Supports all shipping departments and IC

• Monitors daily order processing to improve workflow.

• Completes order blocks - insufficient stock, invalid part numbers, damaged product, cycle counts, insuring stock integrity.

• Inventory stock moves type 1 to type 2

• OPEX support overseeing the OPEX error lane, checking for duplicates, insuring the item is correct.

• Manually packing OPEX boxes

• Participates in the Friday cleanup of all all S/P orders.

• Supports the Slotting / Replen teams

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

• Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous Work Experience: 3+ years of high-volume logistics warehouse experience

• Material handling equipment experience preferred

• Experience in Logistics functions/systems such as SAP-WMS, SOP's, shipping, receiving and/or inventory control.

• Cherry Picker experience required.

• Competent in following oral and written instructions and seeking clarification when necessary.

• Capable of transporting up to 50 lbs.

• Proficient in performing basic mathematical calculations.

• Quick to quickly learn new systems and technology.

• Attentive to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

• Resourceful in resolving complex problems and issues for others.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus of completing tasks.Advanced skills in relevant computer applications.
