VP, Global Security, Networking and Communications

About the Role:

TD SYNNEX is hiring for a Vice President of Security and Networking & Communications to join our Office of the CSTO. This seasoned executive will bring global experience, deep technical expertise in networking and security, and a proven ability to lead strategic vendor and solutions relationships—most notably with Cisco. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within Cisco and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization. As a strategic thinker and collaborator, this leader will engage with senior executives worldwide to drive innovation, alignment, and scalable business outcomes.

• Work collaborative and using the matrix model with the areas in charge of Hybrid Cloud, Security and Data/AI to maximize the results and execution with Security and Networking & Communications models

• Ensure that TD SYNNEX has a leading market share position and global coverage with the strategic Security, Networking & Communications Vendors (Dedicate lead).

• Support our matrix organization of dedicated Security, Networking & Communications teams across TD SYNNEX's fourth regions.

• Drive influence at Security, Networking & Communications vendors to secure financial, technical, and programmatic support to fuel our transformational program.

• Coordinating the various initiatives from design to execution, from global to regional, and then countries.

• Engage with the Security, Networking & Communications leaders to identity, and address market trends and opportunities in this area.

• Lead the business transformation to adopt High-Growth Technologies, with a focus on Security and N&C. Supported and prepared executive exchanges and business reviews with regional presidents and the CEO.

• The Security Networking and Communications role will have the primary objective of coordinating the sharing of best practices, adoption of critical capabilities, and focus on critical growth trends. The SVP will lead and manage this using the matrix model of leaders responsible for the areas and personally in the case of top vendors.

What You'll Do:

• Build, align strategic growth plans with Security and Top Networking and Communications Providers and Regions, Secure financing from vendor.

• Ensure that we growth faster than market with Security and the Networking and Communications segment and deliver AFC targets.

• Collaborate to build and execute operational capabilities (Practices, Services) for Security, Networking and Communications.

• Lead global Security, Networking & Communications vendors - rhythm of business, as well as monthly / quarterly review (15%). Some Networking Vendors will have a matrix report, we should avoid duplication of functions and work, but maximize value proposition, practices and GTM adoption.

• Collaborating with High Growth Technology organization global, regional and local to develop best in class value proposition and differentiated offers in Solutions aggregation and orchestration

• Collaborate and drive the adoption of StreamOne platform and Digital Programs.

What We're Looking For:

• >10 to 15 Years of relevant work experience

• 15 Years+ of experience directly managing / supervising employees

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business field of study required

• Master''s / Post Graduate Degree in Security, Networking or MBA preferred

• Security and Networking technical and sales experience

• Previous global roles and matrix organizational

• Should have Vendor Management experience, Networking, Communications and Security knowledge and International Dist Experience working for one of them.

• Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

• Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.

• Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

• Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.

• Able to interact effectively with high levels of management (managers & above.)

• Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.

• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

• Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.

Working Conditions:

• Frequent Travel Required (50%).

• Global travel required.

• On-call availability required as necessary.

• Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
