Sr. Accounts Receivable Analyst

TD SYNNEX Herndon, VA (Onsite) Full-Time

About the Role:

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst at TD SYNNEX, you'll be responsible for managing the collection, reconciliation, and resolution of assigned Accounts Receivable balances within a large, dynamic technology organization. In this fast-paced environment, you'll work to ensure that Accounts Receivable balances are professionally collected and reconciled both timely and accurately, while achieving targeted metrics.

What You'll Do:

  • Independently reconcile key accounts to improve DSO and meet AR metric targets.

  • Accurately research and maintain accounts receivable histories for new and existing customers.

  • Proactively contact customers for payment information and resolve any issues blocking payment.

  • Perform complex account reconciliations and manage discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.

  • Provide visibility into internal operations issues and assist in solving problems to prevent losses.

  • Review and enhance processes, including China/BPO workflows, to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Identify red flags in accounts and escalate to management as needed.

  • Prepare and negotiate settlements, including document preparation.

  • Work closely with the TD Capital team to reconcile financing agreements.

  • Serve as a resource for other team members, providing guidance and answering questions.

  • Review and release orders within company guidelines.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

  • Hybrid work model - 2 days a week in the office.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or a related field.

  • Bachelors degree preferred.

  • Strong data entry skills with the ability to execute instructions accurately.

  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations and complex problem-solving.

  • Capable of tackling complex problems, applying critical thinking, and making informed decisions.

  • Skilled at identifying key details and handling them with precision and efficiency.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to change as needed.

  • Effectively collaborate, while being sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.

  • High level of integrity, able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant computer systems.

  • Broad knowledge of account reconciliation, credit procedures, and the RMA process.

  • Ability to identify and resolve issues proactively, preventing future problems.
