Benefits Analyst - US

What You'll Do:

• Administration of assigned corporate benefit plans/programs with emphasis on Leaves of Absence and Accommodations.

• Answers employee questions, coordinates leaves and accommodation processes with employee and manager and resolves problems that arise regarding employee benefits.

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures as it relates to FMLA, ADAA and group disability programs.

• Works with Leave of Absence vendor to ensure compliance and processes/policies are adhered to.

• Performs a variety of tasks and works under limited supervision.

• Supports annual Open Enrollment as needed including communication efforts, answering coworker questions, presentations and post Open Enrollment auditing.

• Works with Sr. Benefits Analysts and Benefits Manager as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Provides customer service to employee to answer questions and resolve problems regarding benefits plans/programs.

• Studies and becomes familiar with plan documents within assigned corporate benefit plans/programs and administers according to those documents.

• Documents business procedures within the benefit function.

• Cross-trains in unassigned benefit plans/programs and assist benefits team members in the analysis of plans and procedures.

• Analyzes company benefit procedures for assigned benefit plans/programs and recommends changes or develops new methods or procedures to make administration of plan/programs more efficient.

• Ensures Company compliance with pertinent regulations and laws (including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, and HIPAA).

• Stays current with upcoming legislation as it pertains to assigned benefit plans/programs and is able to make recommendations regarding policies and procedures based on that knowledge.

• Consults with Benefits Manager on unusual or complex benefit issues.

• Previous experience in working with customers and vendors required

• Ability to work with limited supervision, depending on task complexity

• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
