You are customer-focused – regardless of whether the customer is an external user or an internal team.
You are willing and able to write code occasionally, although that is not a day-to-day part of this role. You are excited to get into the weeds and be hands-on, but you know when to trust engineers to execute.
You give continuous, clear feedback to your direct reports. Engineers on your team know when they are below, meeting or exceeding expectations
You excel at explaining technical concepts to anyone and everyone. People enjoy collaborating with you.
