Vice President, Endpoint Solutions, APJ
Job Purpose
The Vice President, Endpoint Solutions (ES), Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) is responsible for leading the ES Business Unit (BU) and guiding ES BU co-workers at all levels to reach BU goals, both strategic and financial. A matrixed role, the incumbent is expected to work collaboratively with country and functional leadership to achieve regional objectives.
In addition to financial outcomes, the incumbent is also responsible for managing a group of technologies and owns the overarching strategic relationships with vendors and business partners within the APJ region.
Responsibilities
Set strategic direction for the BU in the APJ region in conjunction with global and regional leadership.
Full ownership of ES BU divisional business plans. Prepare APJ Endpoint Solutions annual plan to pursue growth of revenue and profitability, using the right resources to achieve the objectives.
Owns the strategic development of the BU including expansion of product lines and additional countries within the region.
Identify market growth opportunities and build plans to capitalize.
Ownership of the annual financial commitment (AFC) for the ES BU. Achieve market share and growth targets.
Development of key channel relationships.
Internal key stakeholder engagement up to APJ and Global BU levels.
Promote the business unit internally and externally.
Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
Recruitment, leadership, management and coaching of coworkers to achieve BU objectives.
Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction and success.
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
Other Education, Experience, Certification
10 to 15 years of relevant work experience
10 to 15 years of direct employee management
In-depth understanding of the assigned business unit
Experience in managing P&L with profitability.
Ability to plan and think strategically and make fast decisions.
Ability to plan and review business at regional and/or global levels.
Executive customer and vendor engagement experience.
Skilled in building relationships at executive levels with cross-business and cross-functional impact and influence.
Skilled in servant leadership behaviors and team development.
Key talent recruitment and selection
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong ownership and accountability
Highly numerical, accurate, and attentive to detail
