Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst for BPO

Job Purpose:

At TD SYNNEX-Shyft Global Services, we are seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst who will deliver innovative BI solutions to drive business success. This role requires a deep understanding of business insights and advanced analytical skills. The ideal candidate will analyze business needs and recommend solutions by interpreting data and utilizing various analytical techniques to enhance business outcomes. Responsibilities include reviewing current processes and collaborating across business and technology functions to ensure comprehensive solutions are implemented. The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst will lead projects and communicate effectively with all necessary stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute data solutions that contribute to business success.

• Identify and recommend impactful solutions to uncover business trends, risks, and opportunities, providing senior leaders with the insights necessary for informed decision-making.

• Oversee and maintain existing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including dashboards, reports, and system applications. Implement changes, enhancements, and ad-hoc reports to support senior management and stakeholders.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python).

• Lead initiatives to identify solutions and enhancements to current BI offerings in partnership with colleagues and stakeholders.

• Demonstrate a foundational understanding of Excel operations, including creating formulas such as conditional IF statements and SUM functions.

• Understand security protocols, target audience specifications, and paginated reports within the Power BI Service.

• Develop dashboards, visuals, parameter fields, dynamic formatting, and security measures in Power BI Desktop.

• Effectively manage lists within SharePoint

• Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for data modeling

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Preferred Postgraduate degree in Data Analytics or a related quantitative discipline (e.g., Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Economics).

• Ability to execute instructions and seek clarification.

• Proficient in using common office equipment and strong data entry skills.

• Demonstrates problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

• Attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.

• Clear communication skills in English and other local/regional languages.

• Experience in creating and delivering formal presentations.

• Effective interaction with higher management and strong negotiation skills.

• Ability to collaborate across diverse identities and promote ideas persuasively.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

• Adaptability to change and ability to work under pressure.

• Commitment to maintaining social, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Quick learner of new systems and technology, with advanced proficiency in relevant computer applications.
