Estimating Supervisor
Arconic is currently in search of Estimating Team Lead to join our Kawneer team based in Springdale, AR.

Job Summary:
As an Estimating Team Lead (Western) at Kawneer, you’ll lead a team of skilled estimators in producing accurate, timely, and competitive quotes for customer projects of our cutting-edge products. Your role will be key in ensuring the success of our projects by overseeing the day-to-day estimating operations, utilizing established standards, procedures, and tools to deliver precise cost assessments.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and guide the estimating team to ensure timely and accurate quotes for projects, adhering to project specifications and requirements.
- Provide mentorship and support to the estimating team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ensure all estimates meet the highest standards of accuracy and completeness by target deadline.
- Implement quality control measures to verify the integrity of the quote data.
- Evaluate and confirm requests for quotes and proposals.
- Act as a liaison between the estimating team, customers, sales, and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare bid proposals from customer request or architectural plans.
- Including generating material take-off and generating pricing for technical services
- Coordinate pricing and schedules with outside vendors to meet quote request dates and project scopes.
- Ensure through documentation of all estimating processes, methodologies, and decisions.
- Maintain organized records to support transparency, consistency, and future reference as needed.
- Negotiate projects with customers as needed.
- Maintain proficiency in all operating systems and tools.
Skills Needed:
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, KaluCAD)
- Demonstrated skills using Kawneer frontend systems a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with customers and team members
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Effective conflict resolution skills, with the ability to mediate and resolve disputes constructively and timely.
- Strong sense of accountability and ability to enforce team performance standards.
- Construction/architectural industry background knowledge
Also note:
- Less than 10% travel
You have: (required)
- Associate’s degree from an Accredited Institution or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction/architectural industry.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Exceptional Candidates also have: (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution.
- Ability to read architectural plans and specifications and or KaluCAD application experience
- Demonstrated estimating experience in construction/architectural industry
Work Setting & Location:
- This position will operate in person in a professional office environment in Springdale, AR
