Position Overview

Yahoo is looking for a Brand Sales Strategy Manager to support its Native ad sales business on Yahoo. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Strategist to think big, push boundaries of what has been done, and drive ideation and innovation across Yahoo Native. The ideal Sales Strategist has the ability to keep the client’s needs as the north star and collaborate with internal, multi-disciplinary stakeholders to deliver for our brand partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Yahoo Native Sales to understand clients’ KPIs and identify effective, on-brand solutions that meet their objectives.

  • Partner with Yahoo product, publishing partners and Yahoo Direct team to develop native packages for brands.

  • Create and maintain client vertical narratives, case studies, and thought leadership content.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.

  • Develop standardized sales templates for presentations, RFP responses, and communications (e.g., email blasts).

  • Bring valuable feedback from the marketplace to the Yahoo Ads teams to innovate on products, packaging, content, and advertiser solutions, ensuring Yahoo is a top-tier partner.

  • Develop compelling GTM messaging for the Yahoo Native Network.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, digital advertising, or ad tech.

  • Deep understanding of native advertising, programmatic platforms, and Yahoo’s O&O ecosystem.

  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex technical details into clear, impactful messaging.

  • Experience working with sales teams and developing high-quality sales enablement materials.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research and performance measurement.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.

The compensation for this position ranges from $122,625.00 - $255,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
