- Consultation with Application Engineer, Analysis and production regarding piston design (national/international)
- Casting coordination with other production sites with regard to die design
- Development of constructive solutions as well as further development and optimization of existing designs
- Creation of piston assembly part drawings (retaining rings, piston pins, ring carriers, salt rings, etc.) according to the recommendations of application engineering.
- Independent design of piston test equipment (temperature measuring pistons, eddy current self-made probes and models for oil jet measurement, etc.).
- Independent design of clamping devices for production
Make entries in the external IMDS system according to the relevant regulations of the system operator or according to customer specifications
