Commercial Finance Manager

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Northville, MI headquarters. This high-visibility role is a unique opportunity for a dynamic finance professional to shape a dedicated commercial finance reporting system and drive strategic decision-making at the executive level.

In this role, you will provide critical insights on top-line performance, market trends, and customer dynamics to help navigate the complexities of the automotive industry. Additionally, you will lead the financial review process for large-scale strategic projects, including capital expenditures, new business opportunities, and restructuring initiatives, directly supporting the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Develop & Own Commercial Finance Reporting

• Build and maintain a dedicated commercial finance system focused on top-line analysis, customer performance, and market comparisons.
• Deliver strategic insights that empower leadership to make informed decisions in a rapidly evolving market.
• Enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities to drive real-time decision-making.

🔹 Strategic Financial Leadership

• Lead financial reviews for key strategic projects, including:
  • Major CAPEX investments
  • New business initiatives
  • Restructuring and transformation projects
• Work closely with executive leadership to ensure financial rigor and alignment with long-term business objectives.
• Provide scenario analysis and risk assessments to drive growth and profitability.

🔹 Cross-Functional Influence

• Partner with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure commercial strategies are backed by solid financial insights.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, challenging assumptions and providing financial clarity.
• Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Finance & Commercial Acumen – Strong experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or strategic finance, in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
