Sales Manager

TD SYNNEX San José, San José Province (Onsite) Full-Time

About the Role:

A Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, monitoring performance, and fostering strong relationships with clients. The Sales Manager plays a key role in shaping the sales strategy and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Fosters cross-departmental teamwork and communication. Ensures timely completion of all projects and responsibilities. 

  • Works with the Sales Director to develop and execute annual business plans.
  • Set sales targets and KPIs for team members, monitoring progress regularly.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance and provide training.

    Conduct regular competitor analysis to inform sales strategies.

  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Assigns quarterly sales goals by territory or business need.
  • Develops quarterly plans with outside sales for territory development.
  • Oversees Employee Development activities, including quarterly one-on-one 'feedback' meetings with all employees, quarterly service observations, and reward and recognition programs for top employees.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Drive customer feedback initiatives to improve product offerings.
  • Presents quarterly business plans at team level.
  • Oversees strategic projects for division growth.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activity and customer interactions.

Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements:

4-year college degree from an accredited university plus the established minimum requirements for the position.

  

Additional Education/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  •  Working knowledge of systems / applications.
  • Demonstrates creativity in problem solving.
  • Advanced level of judgment and decision making.
  • 4 year degree; and 5-7 years relevant sales management experience.
