Sr. Sales Director Belgium & Luxemburg

The Sr. Sales Director Belgium & Luxemburg will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and impact of the Regional SVP. The role will provide strategic and operational support to the SVP, ensuring alignment across the business and efficient communication and execution of the company's vision, business strategy and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Development: Foster a winning culture by motivating, coaching, and developing the team. Recruit, retain, and manage top talent, ensuring they have the skills and tools to excel in their roles.

  • Dynamic Leadership Style: Bring energy and charisma to the role, demonstrating a proactive, forward-thinking approach to drive change and inspire confidence across the organization.

  • Customer and Vendor Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders in key customers and vendors. Work proactively with vendors, Focused Business Units, and general sales teams to unlock incremental growth opportunities.

  • Sales Excellence: Embed a thorough understanding of the Turbo Sales methodology and ensure its principles are implemented rigorously throughout the team. Maintain consistent oversight of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and fiscal performance.

  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Reporting, Customer Service, and Credit to ensure outstanding service levels for customers.

  • Marketing Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing teams to optimize the Divisional Value Proposition and enhance market positioning.

  • Professionalism and Role Modeling: Uphold the TD SYNNEX values and act as a role model, consistently demonstrating professionalism and ethical behavior.

  • Fluency in French and Dutch is essential, with professional proficiency in English.

  • This role is based in Belgium to ensure close engagement with the local market and stakeholders.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience in the B2B IT distribution sector and deep understanding of the IT channel and distribution model.

  • Strong track record as a sales leader and performance manager, capable of driving results in competitive markets.

  • Strong numeracy and analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication, motivation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at board level with TD SYNNEX and its largest customers.

  • 5-10 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) roles, demonstrating consistent achievement of results.

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales management, with a strong focus on leadership and team performance.

  • A high level of commercial acumen, paired with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.

  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering results.

  • Expertise in coaching and developing teams, leveraging proven techniques and systems.

  • Experience managing profit and loss (P&L), where applicable
