【Japan Broadcom】Senior System Engineer
Job Purpose:
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible to provide overall coordination of turnkey and largescale projects that involves multiple internal and external engineers in technology services (installation services that is attached to a new line card product sale), solutions implementation (bespoke tailor made implementation services comprising of multiple products) and maintenance support services (remedial and preventive maintenance services). The existence of this position is strategic and to differentiate the Company as a Value Added Distributor for our business partners. This position is accountable in providing successful turnkey and largescale IT implementation to our customers. This role contributes into achieving overall Singapore business financial targets.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical implementation plan, installation service Statement of Work and configuration design expertise to customers and presales on specified product line(s). Uses independent judgement and discretion in preparing these deliverables. No second-level review occurs.
Provides quotation, coordination, solution validation, problem solving and managing escalations with both internal and external System Engineers on projects and tasks in largescale implementations.
Undergo technical trainings and obtain technical certifications that are required by product line cards or inline with management objectives
Carrying out the technology, professional and maintenance support services as per scope/SOW within the stipulated duration/ timeline with minimal or no revisits/reworks
Perform technical demonstration or product Proof of Concept (PoC) and conduct trainings
Determine the required services scope based on requirements or provide Bill of Material (BoM), calculate the required man-day effort required in the delivering the service and prepare the services quotation
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.
High School Graduate with Engineering or Information Technology field of study required.
Post-Sales implementation certifications for engineers.
Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
Able to use a 10-key quickly and accurately.
Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
Able to converse and write effectively in English.
Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
