TD SYNNEX Columbus, OH (Onsite) Full-Time

About the Role:

Assembles, installs, and configures hardware and software. Uses diagnostics to perform testing on configured or assembled computers and related type products. Troubleshoots problems that may occur during the performance of their duties by using technical support from within the department.

What You'll Do:

  • Installs, configures, tests, and diagnoses hardware and software on computers and computer-related equipment.

  • Assembles computer and related products in accordance to work instructions.

  • Refurbish product including repack, reimage, dissemble, reassemble, and clean product.

  • Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.

  • Test and basic troubleshoot desktop, laptop, monitor and computer related accessories, may assist with basic bench repair work (repair PC, laptop, LCD monitor) – Site specific.

  • Assist in developing test specifications from outlined written requirements or procedures, blueprints, drawings and diagrams – Site specific.

  • Logs and tracks orders accurately using established procedures, Assist with customer technical support when required.

  • Basic troubleshoots problems that occur while performing configurations.

  • Attends and completes continuous ISO awareness training and basic new software and hardware releases training.

  • Documents and utilizes ISO processes and procedures.

  • Provide product specification, product configuration and details of service offerings to both internal associates and TD Synnex customers when required.

  • Prepare technical reports as needed.

  • Performs material handling duties.

  • Ensures record keeping requirements are met.

  • Maintains a professional and clean work environment.

  • Performs any additional duties as assigned.

  • Meets attendance and accountability standard.

What We're Looking For:

  • Entry Level (0 to 1 Years of relevant work experience)

  • High school graduate required

  • A+, Server+, relevant OEM certs from HPI, Lenovo, Microsoft, and Cisco

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.

  • Ability to transport 50 Lbs.

  • Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at a basic level.

  • Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.

Working Conditions:

  • Distribution center environment may include (but not limited to): exposure to extreme temperatures; high noise levels; high places; wet and/or humid conditions; outside weather conditions.

  • Clean room environment requiring ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection.

  • Consistent non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
