Vendor Marketing Specialist
About the Role
As a Vendor Marketing Specialist, you’ll coordinate exciting marketing campaigns and build impactful partnerships supporting Vendor Marketing Managers and the accounts the team serves. You’ll coordinate marketing activities, generate reports to monitor activity outcomes, handle MDF claims, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Your expertise in campaign ROI and performance metrics will shine as you share insights with key stakeholders. Minimal travel if any.
What You’ll Do
Partners with Vendor Marketing Manager to manage assigned marketing programs and campaigns.
Notify internal teams and vendor partners about deadlines and upcoming activities to ensure preparedness.
Monitor marketing activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Track sales data, ROI, outstanding MDF claims, and other key metrics, providing regular updates.
Verify and document proof of performance for all marketing activities.
Utilize internal systems such as CIS to maintain data accuracy and support marketing activity management.
Collaborate with COOP accounting to ensure timely vendor billing and generate necessary reports.
Take on other duties as assigned to support team goals.
What We’re Looking For
At least 1 year of experience in IT Distribution, Marketing, or similar industry preferred
College degree or equivalent work or military experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained preferred
Ability to execute tasks efficiently and seek clarification when needed
Strong project management skills with a high attention to detail; Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, follow up with stakeholders and encourage continuous process improvement
Highly organized, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
Clear and effective communication skills
Capacity to collaborate effectively across different levels of management
Adaptability to sit for extended periods when necessary
Strong relationship-building abilities
Sensitivity to the needs and concerns of others
Quick adaptability to new systems and technology
Proficiency in relevant computer applications such as Excel and various project and program management tools
Working Conditions: Professional office environment - Hybrid in-office coupled with remote work flexibility. In-office for some hosted events. Minimal, if any, travel required.
