Insulpour Operator
Unloaders starts at Grade 4 - Loaders and Programmers start at Grade 5
Job Duties: INSULPOUR (THERMAL)
- Perform pre-startup inspections;
- Perform pre-shift material testing of mix ratios;
- Set-up and Operate all pieces of equipment within the department. Operate safely and efficiently;
- Perform 1st piece, 10th and last piece inspections according to the inspection requirements;
- Properly lock out/tag out (LOTOV) equipment;
- Proficient use of Tape Measure, Square, Caliper, and Protractor;
- Verify correctness of part;
- Perform shear test and record;
- Employee is required to read sketches and part drawings indicating exposed and non-exposed areas;
- Report production activity accurately in JDE;
- Record all settings and testing results accurately via written documentation or Power App
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with co-workers, internal and external suppliers, promoting a teamwork environment.
Requirements:
- Must have some knowledge of machine operations;
- Ability to work independently;
- Overtime is required if deemed necessary by management;
- Must be flexible and able to work any shift when required based on production needs’
- Must be able to use and understand readings on calipers and protractors;
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Working knowledge of JDE shop floor reporting screens;
- Active support and leadership for ABS tools and concepts;
Mathematical Skills:
- Must have knowledge of adding and subtracting fractions.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.;
- The operator must be able to lift repeatedly and stand or kneel for extended periods of time.
