Job Description:
Quality & Safety System Technician
DEPARTMENT: Quality
SHIFT: 1st
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- This position will report to the Quality Manager
- Manage documentation in the Compliant Pro System
- Create new documents or forms; ensure layout and formatting is correct
- Approver/Administrator of all documents
- Administration of safety documentation:
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Lock Out – Tag Out (LOTO)
- Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Support EHS Manager with other safety administration and safety activities
- ISO:45001
- ISO:14001
- Set up schedule for yearly internal audits for both Quality and Environmental; ensure that all scheduled audits are completed on time, such as:
- QMS Audits
- ISO14001 internal audit program
- ISO 45001 internal audit program
- Coordinator of LPA program.
- Assist Waupun (when requested)
- Maintain log on internal audits of any CAR’s or OFI’s that were documented; perform follow-up as necessary with the person(s) involved
- Perform scheduled internal audits and maintain database
- Maintain updates to all certificates & policies; frame all certificates & policies in required areas
- Assist the Quality Manager with scheduling external audits and assist with the actual external audits
- Set up the training for all new internal auditors
- Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to function with little supervision
- Ability to work individually as well as being a team player
- Detail oriented
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task
- Flexibility to work all shifts when necessary
- Prior experience with IATF, OHSAS, and ISO is preferred
- Certified Internal Auditor preferred
