Quality & Safety System Technician

DEPARTMENT:            Quality

SHIFT:                          1st

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• This position will report to the Quality Manager
• Manage documentation in the Compliant Pro System

• Create new documents or forms; ensure layout and formatting is correct
• Approver/Administrator of all documents

• Administration of the following safety documentation:

• Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• Lock Out – Tag Out (LOTO)
• Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

• Support EHS Manager with other safety administration and safety activities

• ISO:45001                               
• ISO:14001

• Set up schedule for yearly internal audits for both Quality and Environmental; ensure that all scheduled audits are completed on time, such as:

• QMS Audits
• ISO14001 internal audit program
• ISO 45001 internal audit program
• Coordinator of LPA program.
• Assist Waupun (when requested)      

• Maintain log on internal audits of any CAR’s or OFI’s that were documented; perform follow-up as necessary with the person(s) involved
• Perform scheduled internal audits and maintain database
• Maintain updates to all certificates & policies; frame all certificates & policies in required areas
• Assist the Quality Manager with scheduling external audits and assist with the actual external audits
• Set up the training for all new internal auditors
• Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and the ability to function with little supervision
• Ability to work individually as well as being a team player
• Detail oriented
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.)
• Ability to multi-task
• Flexibility to work all shifts when necessary
• Prior experience with IATF, OHSAS, and ISO is preferred
• Certified Internal Auditor preferred
