Financial Analyst I
About the Role:
As a Financial Analyst you will provide vital analytical support to the Costa Rica Compensation team, focusing on operational reporting and analysis. You will contribute to ensuring accuracy in bonus payouts, compensation calculations, and delivering ad hoc reports as needed. Your work will directly impact the success and efficiency of our compensation processes.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with the Financial Analyst III to review and analyze compensation metrics across all CMS business units. Review, calculates and analyze the bonus payout and submit it to the Accounting Department.
Prepare and manage the bonus payout database, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and submit it to the Accounting Department.
Review and analyze goals versus actual results for CMS business units.
Track and analyze compensation application results to support decision-making.
Maintain and update databases for compensation and financial dashboards.
Conduct operational analyses and prepare ad hoc reports for management as needed.
Present compensation training sessions for new hires.
What We're Looking For:
Skills/Qualifications
1+ years of relevant experience
English proficiency (B2+ or above) both written and oral - required
Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously, taking initiative to solve problems and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Able to follow instructions with precision and seeks clarification proactively to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Exhibits strong analytical skills, consistently recognizing and addressing critical details with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Capable of developing and delivering compelling formal presentations, effectively engaging with and influencing stakeholders across all levels of management.
Possesses exceptional organizational and time management abilities, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed to meet deadlines.
Upholds and promotes social, ethical, and organizational standards in all internal and external business activities.
Maintains the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information, ensuring trust and integrity in all dealings.
Builds and sustains strong, effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners to achieve shared goals.
Skilled in using relevant computer applications at an intermediate level.
Education
Associate Degree required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Other Education / Certifications:
Intermediate/Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, etc) - required
Knowledge in Power BI and Power Queries - preferred
Knowledge in Access Data Base - preferred
Working Conditions:
Professional, office environment (hybrid model - 1 to 2 days at the office per month, may vary depending on business needs).
Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
