Display Systems Engineer

TD SYNNEX San José, San José Province (Onsite) Full-Time

Job Purpose:

This role requires a proactive, customer-focused individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong technical background on Display products and services, including but not limited to DVLED, LCD, OLED, collaborative displays. Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the technical sales efforts of Information Display products and services, including but not limited to DVLED, LCD, OLED, collaborative displays.

  • Review project designs with stakeholders and recommends appropriate solutions.

  • Understands integration drawings in the AV space to include segments such as command and control, corporate, education, post-production.

  • Conduct pre-sales functions including product specifying, solution quoting, and proposal development.

  • Prepare and conduct technical training for customers, sales channel partners, solution specifiers, and internal teams.

  • Support assigned sales representative(s), region(s), and/or product(s) and vertical(s) by attending sales meetings, addressing technical inquiries, assessing customer pain-points, conveying solution requirements, and resolving pre- and post-sales technical product issues.

  • Ability to engage new customer opportunities, maintain existing relationships, and follow up with our reseller/integrator networks through email and phone correspondence.

  • Document and convey Voice of Customer (VOC) for technical product-related topics, such as requirements for future products/features, to appropriate internal representatives.

  • Assist in project implementation and other professional services as needed.

  • Act as a liaison between sales organization and field services to ensure successful project installations.

  • Advocate customer needs and new ideas to US and HQ Product Management teams.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferably with a System Integrator
  • Certified Technology Specialist-CTS (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product and solution sales (preferably in Audiovisual, DVLED, Collaborative displays, Information Display industries, Post-Production, Virtual Reality, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Content Management Solutions (CMS)
  • Strong understanding of project specifications, system drawings, floor drawings and blueprints
  • Knowledge in all MS Office Applications (Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce), CMS, CAD and/or Revit software a plus, Smartsheet
  • Exemplary Interpersonal, time management and decision making
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Aggressive self-starter with ability to identify, utilize and leverage internal resources
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to document and escalate technical and project documentation
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, stressful environments while exercising sound judgment and decision making
  • SalesForce.com experience a plus
  • Industry relationships with integrators, end users
