Job Purpose:
Business Development for Cradlepoint (part of Ericsson) will act as internal support to the vendor business lead to drive profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement.
Responsabilities:
Engages with the Business Unit. Acts aligned with the strategy from the vendor and develops business with the rest of the countries.
Support development of strategies and ideas to assist business growth.
Ownership for building an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within the Company’s CRM system.
Weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities and the deal pipeline.
Support execution of business plans as required by the business development manager.
Support execution of marketing plans as required by the Marketing Manager.
Identify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and address accordingly.
The point of escalation for customer care issues from the sales floor.
Communicate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions to customers and the internal sales teams.
Run call out days on the sales floor and/or the Business Unit sales teams.
Engage directly with customers depending on role requirements.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager.
Someone who also has very strong communication skills, both oral and written and good emotional intelligence.
The ideal person for this role should have 2+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background and have a clear understanding and strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling with strategic planning and business case development skills and experience.
Someone who is able to create and conduct formal presentations and interact effectively with all levels of management, negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively, while at the same time thinking outside of the box.
Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
Build solid, effective working relationships with others.
Excel and Power Point skills.
Experience with IT Industry (Security vendors will be a plus).
High level of English (Required) Other EU Languages (a plus).
