Job Purpose:
As an Internal Sales Specialist you will drive internal sales within a dedicated sub-business unit, focusing on assigned accounts. Leverage deep portfolio knowledge, process expertise, and vendor pricing understanding to manage the full quote lifecycle and secure order closure. Performance is incentivised based on the sales of a specific portfolio segment. Responsibilities:
Build Excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge
Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and can have a general conversation around a solution/product area
Achieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin targets
Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions
Ensure TD SYNNEX maintains service levels agreements with customers
Attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as customer engagement and management of inbound workload via a shared team inbox
Develops partner relationship (incl. account planning, cross-selling etc.)
Works closely with the Business Development Manager on larger project opportunities
Provides accurate and timely quotations
Generate and own a pipeline of deals and renewals in TD SYNNEX’s CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities
Knowledge Skills and Experience
Numerate with good attention to detail
Excellent telephone manner

Understands Sales Process

Good relationship building
A knowledge of product set would be desirable
IT industry knowledge essential
