Senior Technical Post-Sales Support Engineer

Job Purpose:

Technical support specialist provides on-site and remote support for customers. Technical support professional install, configure broad range of products sold by TD SYNNEX at an advanced level. Addresses tasks such as the testing, documenting, installation and setting up storage , server , hyperconverged and backup systems vendors which we are authorized to deliver services , networking devices, relevant software and features. A TSS actively participates with clients in devising solutions to improve services so they must be conversant with the latest storage , server , hyperconverged and backup systems technologies.Technical support specialist must respond to all client queries. This position requires working after hours as well as a presence on-site as required. TSS ensures that storage solution operates consistently and efficiently. They confirm consistent up-time of systems and networks. They engage in routine maintenance checkup as well. TSS offers guidance and training to the client personnel. It is their duty to educate them about the product operation and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of large enterprise customer issues reported through customer calls and autosupport messages. Follow the SLA for the issues and provide field and remote support at the customer site accordingly.

Monitor systems to ensure that storage solution operates consistently and at desired performance to meet customers business requirements. Inform the customers proactively for potential risks and problems to maintain business critical applications.

Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues. Properly escalate unresolved issues to Vendor support team. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.

Hardware installation, physical deployment and application integration of products at large enterprise customers.

Parts replacement. Manage RMA process follow up with vendor, define and take the parts and contacts and sends to the vendor

Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time and work as an escalation engineers for the unsolved issues for small-medium size customers. Application integration at small environments when needed. Knowledge Skills and Experience:

>8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience

Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.

Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.

Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others.

Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.

Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.

Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at an intermediate level.

Able to be immobile for long extended periods.

Ability to transport 40 Lbs.

Able to travel domestically and internationally

Able to make physical installations on-site by travelling to customers located outside the city
