HR System Optimization Intern

JOB SUMMARY:
The HR System Optimization Intern will support the HR Tech SysOps team in optimizing and enhancing SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring its functionality aligns with business needs. This role will involve module audits, data integrity checks, and process improvements. The intern will work closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to streamline workflows, provide system support, and contribute to ongoing HR technology projects specific to SAP SuccessFactors. This position offers hands-on experience in HR systems, enterprise technology, and process automation, providing exposure to real-world HRIS challenges and solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform audit of current state SAP SuccessFactors module setup (e.g. Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning)
- Assist in project plan design for revamp of the SAP SuccessFactors employee experience
- Support HR system enhancements and process automations
- Assist in documenting system processes, training materials, and user guides
- Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and assist in training HR teams
- Participate in testing new features and integrations as part of system upgrades or process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HR technology aligns with business needs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Interest in HR technology, HRIS systems, and process automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with data, reports, and troubleshooting system issues
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or other HRIS platforms (preferred but not required)
- Previous internship experience in HR systems, IT, or data management (preferred but not required)
