HR Operations Specialist
Position Overview
The Offboarding Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of the offboarding process within the organization. This role involves assisting with employee departures, ensuring a smooth transition for employees exiting the company, and maintaining compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The Offboarding Specialist will collaborate with HR and other departments to provide support in managing offboarding tasks and ensuring positive experiences for departing employees.
This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to collaborate with our teams in our New York office.
Key Responsibilities:

Offboarding Support:
Assist in the management and coordination of offboarding activities, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for departing employees.
Help in preparing exit documentation.
Coordinate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure offboarding tasks are completed on time.

Employee Communication:
Communicate with departing employees to ensure understanding of the offboarding process, and maintain a positive exit experience.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on offboarding steps and timelines.

Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure accurate documentation of offboarding activities, including maintaining employee files and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection laws.
Assist with ensuring offboarding activities align with company policies and procedures.

Process Improvement:
Assist in identifying areas for improvement in the offboarding process and help implement changes where necessary.
Help monitor compliance with offboarding policies and assist with audits when required.

Collaboration:
Work closely with HR teams and other departments (such as IT, Finance, etc.) to ensure all offboarding steps are followed and completed.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in HR or a related administrative role, with exposure to offboarding processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with various stakeholders.
High level of attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HR software and tools related to offboarding or employee data management.
Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations related to offboarding.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

) page to learn more.The compensation for this position ranges from $65,625.00 - $136,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
