Sales Operations Director

The Sales Operations Director will play a vital role on a cross-functional team supporting all consumer sales and will report directly to the VP of Sales Operations & Strategy. They will lead and optimize our sales operations function, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the sales team. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support the sales organization in achieving its goals. 

Core functions

Project Execution: Oversee the successful execution of sales initiatives and projects to enhance overall efficiency within the sales organization. Ensure all projects align with business objectives and contribute to the achievement of sales goals.

Process Improvement: Identify, design, and implement best practices and processes to enhance sales efficiency. Streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and facilitate the implementation of new processes across teams. Foster a culture of continuous improvement to ensure the organization remains agile and responsive to market changes.

Sales Enablement: Support the sales team with training and resources to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Sales Tools & Analytics: Analyze sales data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Manage sales dashboards and performance metrics, ensuring the sales team has the necessary tools to track progress against goals effectively.

Strategic Planning: Drive efforts related to overall sales strategy, including quota setting and team structure recommendations. Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the direction of the sales organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in sales operations or related roles, with a proven track record of success.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

The compensation for this position ranges from $129,210.00 - $281,305.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
