Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity and to work alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cybersecurity, cloud and application development space with a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Internships will run from mid-May to early August

These are in-office internships at our West Des Moines located at 7700 Mills Civic Parkway.

Interviews and hiring decisions expect to be completed prior to mid-November, with some being completed as early as late September.

Accountabilities:

• Support the development and implementation of security controls.
• Collaborate with various technology teams to ensure security is built into solutions.
• Participate in security reviews of applications
• Document processes, standards, and findings to support remediation efforts

Qualifications and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Python, Javascript/Typescript, Infrastructure as code, Basic knowledge of AWS services
• Ability to solve problems effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, with an aptitude for learning and growth.
• Well-rounded and self-motivated
• Proficient communication and organizational skills
• Previous internship experience preferred
