Purpose:
Athene is looking to hire a highly motivated, detailed individual to join the team as a Document Management (DMC) Representative! We believe our people make a difference, and we recognize that individual differences and experiences strengthen our teams.This role provides customer service to the entire organization by electronically indexing various incoming documents. The ideal candidate will be adept at using computer systems and adjusting to various systems, ensuring seamless processing, and management of various forms. DMC representatives also assist with cash handling and other processing duties in a fast-paced environment that has an integral impact on daily operations at Athene.
Accountabilities:
Recognize and index scanned documents for all business units, utilizing 1400 document types.
Interpret and apply exception-based processing when necessary.
Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment to achieve common goals among departments.
Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting tasks.
Identify and address issues proactively, providing innovative solutions to improve processes.
Understand and apply regulations surrounding annuity contracts and disbursements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using computer systems and adapting to new software updates or changes.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
- Familiarity with regulations related to annuity contracts and disbursements is a plus.
- 1+ years of mail handling, imaging, work flow or cash processing experience preferred.

Proficient in the use of imaging software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Understands computer and other equipment capabilities and limitations.
The ability to learn and retain a complex variety of information related to annuity policies and procedures.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
